Meet Dr. Taylor Vracar
Dr. Taylor Vracar was born and raised in Venice, Florida. She attended the University of Florida where she received both her bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition with a Minor in Business Administration and her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. She went on to complete her orthodontic residency at the University of Tennessee in Memphis.
Throughout dental school, she stayed active with several leadership positions, receiving many awards including the International College of Dentists Humanitarian Award, the American College of Dentists Senior Ethics Award, the Outstanding Tutor Recognition Award, the Quintessence Award for Research Achievement, Sarnat Craniofacial Biology Award, ADA/DENTSPLY Student Clinician Award.
She is board certified She is an active member of:
- The American Association of Orthodontists
- The Southern Association of Orthodontists
- The Florida Association of Orthodontists
- The American Dental Association
- The Florida Dental Association
She is married to her incredible husband, Michael, whom she met in dental school. They have a one-year-old daughter Bethany, who they love to snuggle and is an answer to years of prayers. Together they enjoy competing in triathlons, weightlifting, playing beach volleyball, reading, going to church and trying new restaurants.
