I am originally from Orange Park, Florida, where I attended St. Johns Country Day School from kindergarten through twelfth grade. After graduating from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, I continued my education at the University of Florida College of Dentistry where I earned my DMD degree. During dental school I found that treating children was the best part of practicing dentistry. This led me to complete a two year pediatric dental residency at the University of Florida, in which I served as Chief Resident in my final year.
The two year program gave me extensive experience in treating the oral health of children, adolescents, and patients with special needs. My residency program offered me a high level of experience in prevention of dental disease, minor and complex procedures, operating room procedures, as well as oral conscious sedation and nitrous oxide.
I am a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Florida Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, Florida Dental Association, Jacksonville Dental Society and the Clay County Dental Society.
I now call Julington Creek home. I am excited to be working alongside my father, Dr. Gerry Weaver, as well as Dr. Mike Stratton, and our exceptional team. I especially enjoy working with young patients who are nervous or anxious about coming to see the dentist. I pride myself in turning these children into happy dental patients.
In my spare time I enjoy running with my dog, Penny, and also fishing, playing basketball and golf, and watching Florida Gator football and basketball.
